Approval of Developmental Studies Director required; supplements but does not replace other developmental courses. Individualized learning program for students who have not passed the writing portion of the college assessment test and necessitate a mid-semester schedule change to meet state requirements for remediation. Writing strengths and weaknesses are diagnosed on the basis of college assessment test(s). Teaching methods include computer-assisted instruction and one-on-one essay writing.
