A continuation of CHEM 1111, this second semester course sequence is designed to provide an introductory level knowledge of the techniques and procedures employed in a first year chemistry laboratory course. Experiments dealing with inorganic synthesis, qualitative analyses, chemical equilibrium, kinetics, acids/bases/buffers, molecular structure, colligative properties of materials, and solubility product are utilized. Prerequisite. CHEM 1311 and CHEM 1111. Concurrent enrollment in CHEM 1312 is mandatory. (RM)
