Provide new system administrators the basics of administering UNIX workstations. Students perform basic system administration tasks, such as installing a standalone system, adding users, backing up and restoring file systems and adding a new printer support. Emphasis on the procedures needed to perform these systems administration tasks. Introduces the concept of the system and disk management. Prerequisite: ITSC 1405.
