Introduction to Java programming with object-orientation.Emphasis on the fundamental syntax and semantics of Java for applications and Web applets. Topics include methods, tools and techniques for event-driven, non-linear design, graphical user interface (GUI) development and incorporation of Java packages and components into applications and applets. Prerequisites: ITSE 1402 or COSC 1436. Suggested prerequisite: ITSE 2431.
