Further application of C++ programming techniques including subjects such as file access, abstract data structures, class inheritance and other advanced techniques. Topics include methods, tools and techniques for file access, declaring abstract data types, structures, classes and principles and concepts of object-oriented design and programming. Advanced topics include function and class templates, overloading operators and functions, inheritance and array and linked-list processing. Course may be offered as COSC 1437. Prerequisite: ITSE 1402 or COSC 1436.
