Successful completion of Bachelor of Music Qualifying Exam is required. May be repeated for credit. Study in music performance in the student's major performance area. Offered each semester. Major program outcomes: develops competence in major performance area. Student expected to perform a cross-section of music from the complete repertory of the particular performance medium, and develop technical skills requisite for artistic self-expression at an appropriate level. University-wide outcomes: oral communication, critical thinking. Corequisite(s): MUSC 1710 or 3410. Prerequisite(s): Completion of Bachelor of Music Qualifying Exam.
