A study of the human voice, its registers, classification of voices, method of practicing, analysis, style, and selection of literature. Work in vocal pedagogy lab. Major program outcomes: students acquire the technical skills requisite for artistic selfexpression, and develop techniques for teaching those skills; students have the opportunity to become familiar with the capabilities of technology as they relate to teaching. University-wide outcomes: oral and written communication. Prerequisite(s): MUSC 1012.
