This capstone course will focus on several comprehensive security related projects drawn from recent studies of industry concerns. 5 - 7 case studies will be presented for consideration. Students will develop and implement enterprise security policies considering such issues as authentication, hacking, malicious code, wireless & instant messaging, firewalls, routers, switches and intrusion detection and prevention. Also included: special topics drawn from current literature, guest speakers, public policy and ethics in IT. Prerequisite(s): ITNW 4501 and ITNW 4502
