A continuation of DHYG 3200. Principles are introduced in advanced procedures including but not limited to sonic and ultrasonic instrumentation, root planning, gingival curettage, care of dental implants, abrasive polishing devices, phase microscope, oral irrigation and advanced home care techniques. The research poster will be introduced and implemented and the student will continue to develop their dental hygiene portfolio. Prerequisite(s): DHYG 3200. Corequisite(s): DHYG 4300C.
