The environment is made of both living and non-living components. This course examines the relationships between these various components in the biosphere. Students will learn how complex natural cycles and chains can be perturbed by small disturbances, and conversely, how life adapts to these changes. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1108 with a grade of C or higher, BIOL 1108L or 1112; MATH 1231.
