Description: The damages course covers the goals of damages; the principles of measurement (e.g., reliance and expectancy); consequential damages (e.g., general and special); limitations (e.g., liquidated damages, avoidable consequences, scope of liability, certainty requirement); damages in the context of specific subject areas, such as breach of contract, torts, and intellectual property disputes; punitive damages; attorneys fees and costs; interest (e.g., compensatory and moratory interest); and damages in foreign currency.
