Clinical practice in respiratory care including rotations through general therapy procedures (may include evening rotations), critical respiratory care, and pulmonary function testing. In addition to application, emphasis will be placed on patient evaluation and determination of appropriateness of therapy. Clinical competence in initiation of therapy, lung volumes determination, PEEP/CPAP, extubation, post-op respiratory care. Prerequisites: RT260. 1 credit hour.
