Fall Semester, alternate years This course explores the anatomy of the human singing voice, including function, acoustics, and the various voice classifications. A special focus will be placed on the various schools of teaching, and the text and methods of vocal teaching. The long-term care and health of the singing voice will also be addressed. Prerequisite: two semesters of Applied Voice. 3 credit hours.
