Fall Semester Introduces students to the process of using geographically registered data to analyze things that exist and events that happen on earth. The analysis integrates data base operations and computer generated maps so as to provide information for the explanation of events, the prediction of outcomes, and strategic planning with application in a wide variety of disciplines such as business, government, biology, criminal justice, and public health. Fulfills an elective requirement for Information Systems majors. 3 credit hours.
