Fall Semester This course will introduce the student to the body of knowledge and skills that are used to facilitate the social service function in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Topics will include review of the applicable Federal Regulations, job descriptions for social service personnel, modalities of service delivery, evaluation and importance of a systems approach to Resident services. Prerequisite: GER315 3 credit hours.
