Explores: (a) the universality and diversity of human biological, cognitive, social, and emotional development and behavior within and across racial, ethnic, and cultural groups, (b) the contexts in which multiple cultures intersect or interact with one another and the historical,institutional, and personal factors that influence or regulate these interactions; and (c) the theoretical and methodological approaches psychologists use to explore these issues.
