Sculpture takes many forms. Students will be introduced to a variety of construction techniques involving clay, plaster, wire, fibers, and other materials. Assignments will challenge the student to find the scope of possibilities with each material. In addition to the development of artistic skills, students will participate in critiques that reinforce critical thinking in the classroom. Prerequisite: AR 135. Fee. Three credits.
