This intermediate level course is for students who want to learn the methods and materials of painting with oils and acrylics. Its purpose is to provide the student with solid foundational skills and an opportunity to explore a variety of approaches in the creation of paintings including layering, glazing, mixing paint medium and proper studio maintenance. Prerequisites: AR 130 or AR 131. Fee. Three credits.
