Description:
This course will emphasize the relationship between graphic design and the moving image and sound environment. Through guided in class exercises and individual assignments students will learn how to bring their still graphics and photographic images alive through the use of Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Express. Basics of keyframe animation will also be addressed through the combination of graphics created in Adobe Photoshop and animated using editing software. This class will be studio based. Students will be responsible for the creation of all the graphics used in individual assignments. Prerequisite: ARTM2020
