Description:
This course is the capstone engineering experience for all engineering majors at Robert Morris University. Students will participate in interdisciplinary teams to bring a product from conceptual design through manufacture. Activities will include detail design and tolerancing, material selection, cost estimation, process planning, scheduling and material requirements planning, distribution system design, software planning and implementation, and product fabrication. Course deliverables will include a written report, all design data and analyses, and one or more working, physical products. Credits: 1 lecture, 2 lab Prerequisites: 90 Credits and COSK2220 or COSK2225
