This course provides an in-depth treatment of the methods and techniques used for the implementation of automated device control, both digital and analog. The student will achieve a mastery of both open and closed loop control methods and algorithms including sequencing control, and potential/integral/derivative control. The student will gain hands-on experience with sensor technology, computer-based data acquisition and control, and programmable logic controllers. Prerequisite: 75 Credits
