The course is an advanced continuation of Print Design II. The assignments are more complicated and address specific market demands. The work completed in the class is suitable for inclusion in the student's final portfolio of designs and will exhibit a mature hand with a secure grounding in technique and design. The students will be able to research historical, cultural, and major design movements for the basis of their own contemporary designs. The class includes demonstrations of each technique followed by in-class examples and work in class periods. New assignments are discussed in sketch form before finished work is executed.
