This course introduces the skills necessary to weave on a floor loom, including winding warps, dressing the loom, and weaving techniques such as tapestry rug and basic weaves. In addition, issues of materials and color in woven applications are discussed. Basic design skills necessary to developing a woven image or functional fabric are stressed.
