In a program design for art teachers and those who integrate art into other disciplines, participants explore how art influences change within individuals and groups. Distinguished professionals lead panel discussions, studio workshops and field trips. Special opportunties at Spiral Q Puppet Theatre, the Philadelphia Museum of Art amd site-specific installations look at how multi-sensory encounters expand their reality and contribute to empowerment, meaning making and identity. Studio workshops involve creating art while generating ideas and exemplars for classroom use. Projects are appropriate for beginner through advanced levels.
