The many varied issues of sustainability will be examined in their broadest aspects, from macro environmental contexts to the concerns of commonplace functional minutia. While focus will be given to the designer's role in sustainability, impact on the broader geographic, social and human realities will also be examined. Preparation for LEED certification is an additional course goal.
