Description:
-
A hands-on investigation into the relationship between a design and how it is made. Students will survey the range of materials and techniques that are used in making furniture and interiors. In this studio, the focus will be on both the pleasure that comes from making a design, and the challenges that are encountered and how this might affect the design. Each student will design and make a prototype of a final project, such as a small piece of furniture.
