This course introduces students to the digital workflow in photography. Goals include mastering the basic use of digital cameras, developing skills in maximizing image quality, and learning the tools needed in Adobe Photoshop for successful application in a photographic setting. Focus and exposure, converting color images to grayscale, resolution, contact sheets, basic image adjustments, and printing techniques are covered. Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of PC or Mac computer.
