Students must posses basic patternmaking skills from the sophomore level studio classes. The Lectra System of computer patternmaking will be taught on a pc in our computer lab. As in studio, exercises in dart manipulation, slashing and spreading, etc. will be demonstrated. Students will compile a folder of this work and will be expected to be able to apply this knowledge in order to produce patterns for their original designs. A plotter (printer) will be used to print final patterns to be used in studio. Satisfies: Studio Elective
