Continuing the study of current electronic publishing, this course deals with the use of color in page layout and design. Spot and process color print jobs and manual and automatic procedures for trapping are covered in detail. Students will learn to prepare files for service bureaus and printers. Projects utilize programs learned in previous semesters such as QuarkXpress, Illustrator, and PhotoShop. Tests and critiques are designed to give students a competitive advantage in their job searches.
