Students study sustainability, considering the triad of environment, economics and society, with a systems-view, connecting cultural practices to the concept of limits. Energy and Policy and topics focusing on the challenges of cultural change will be studied in depth with lecture, discussion, writing, simulations, field trips and integration with the Sense of Place seminar. Prerequisite: EN-110 and EES-100. Corequisites: PACS180 and ESS232 and EES372.
