(Fall; Even Years; 4.00 Credits; N) Focuses on the origin of sediments and sedimentary rocks. Included are sedimentary processes, depositional environments, post-depositional influences and sedimentary rock classification. Principles and methods of study including petrographic analysis are emphasized. Note: one laboratory per week, field trips are required, including a weekend trip, and a special fee is assessed. Prerequisites: EES210 and EES211 and CH114.
