Focuses on: World War I; Soviet Russia and communist class warfare as social war of radical modernization; fascism/Nazism and war as nationalist-racist expansionism; Japanese imperialism; and World War II. Prerequisite: junior or above standing, with at least one course in history completed; or instructor’s permission.
