Emphasis varies, but the course includes such writers as More, Wyatt, Elyot, Sidney, Spenser, Marlow, Raleigh, Jonson, Donne, Webster, Herbert, Bacon, Burton, Beaumont and Fletcher, as well as conrinental writers such as Pico, Petrarch, Ficino, Vives and Rabelais, in translation Offered in alternate years.
