Introduction to the principles of physics that underlie the use of radiation in diagnostic imaging. Topics include: atomic structure, mechanics, electricity, magnetism, electromagnetism, radiation, x-radiation and x-ray image production. Concurrent enrollment required in MRAD 121, 142, and 151. Prerequisite: Completion of MRAD 101, 102, 103, 104, and 141 each with a grade of "C"or better and Consent of Instructional Unit.
