CHE 301L - Biochemistry Lab

Institution:
Brevard College
Subject:
CHEMISTRY
Description:
This course focuses on the chemistry of biological organisms and the structures of the most important classes of biological molecules. General topics include biochemistry’s response to the three major evolutionary challenges-the interconversion of different forms of energy, molecular reproduction, and the adaptation of cells and organisms to changing environments. The laboratory section focuses on the experience of bio-chemistry – the planning, performance, observation, evaluation, and reporting of biochemical experiments. The labs will introduce the safe performance, instrumentation, and operations of biochemical reaction. Prerequisite: CHE 201/201L
