An introductory level course covering relevant health and fitness topics such as mental and physical health, nutrition, human sexuality, communicable and non-communicable diseases, use and abuse drugs and safety. This course consists of two components, lecture and activity. The activity portion will cover basic knowledge, techniques and utilization of this knowledge for a specific fitness activity. Three class hours per week. Credit: One semester hour.
