Through the manipulation of various sculptural materials, this course introduces students to the process of designing maquette characters for three-dimensional rendering. Students learn to work with diverse types of character designs, styles, proportions, and genres. They study classical and contemporary sculptural techniques and subsequently learn to utilize the various working methods described. Prerequisite: SEQA 224.
