Description:
This course focuses on the development of the creative and technical skills necessary to print fabric for both commercial and fine art applications. Various printing media are explored, including opaque and transparent pigments, thickened dyes and discharge pastes. Hand-cut, direct and photomechanical stencils are used. Students are encouraged to be experimental and inventive in their approach to the media and processes. Prerequisites: FIBR 204, FIBR 310.
