Geo-political survey of South and Central Asia, including interrelationships between the physical, economic and political geography of this region, the impact of geography on politics and political issues within the nations of this region, the corresponding impact of politics and political issues on geography and on the lives of the people living in this region, as well as the resulting diversity of cultures, beliefs, perceptions, challenges and issues among the people of this region. This course will also examine the importance and impact of South and Central Asia on the rest of the world, as well as examine the impact and influence of the rest of the world on South and Central Asia.
