Prerequisite: Limited, Provisional, Regular, or Certification acceptance into the School of Graduate Studies or ARTS 2720 or ENGL 2100 Overview of images produced on the African continent and those created by people who were transported to or migrated to the Americas, the Caribbean, and Europe. Emphasis will be placed on the work of twentieth and twenty-first century artists in exploration of their African heritage.
