Six hours per week. Prerequisite: ART 262 or permission of instructor. May be repeated for credit up to nine hours. In today's Web design, Flash is the perfect tool to create high-impact, low- bandwidth Web sites that incorporate animation, movies and sound with a dynamic design and break the rigidity of HTML coding. In this course topics such as the structure of interactivity, user - centered design, interface assessment is explored by using Flash MX. Projects take the student from learning the basics of the program and interactivity concepts to their application in more complex conceptual projects.
