The primary function of financial accounting is the reporting of financial information to external stakeholders of the firm, such as stockholders, bondholders, and bankers. In this course we focus on the collection, organization, and analysis of financial accounting information. Included are the preparation and analysis of financial statements such as the income statement, balance sheet and the statement of cash flows.
