[Prereq. ARC 3324.] The second term of third year emphasizes working within a specific context, both in terms of a site in an historic setting and in terms of the materials and logic of building. It offers the opportunity to link with the history course on modern architecture by locating a design project in a setting being studied in the history course. The course also incorporates a hands-on experience with building materials and systems that relates to a design project for a specific climate and topography.
