[Prereq. ARC 4341.] This term has two emphases. The first is to bring together the lessons of the previous design courses in the comprehensive design of a building of moderate size, possibly in the context of a competition. The second is to study large, complex buildings culminating within an urban setting in a design project that focuses on the organization of all the parts of such a building and its relation to the historical/cultural and physical context.
