Prerequisites: EE: 3135; EEL 3300. The purpose of this course is to develop a basic understanding of using switched electronic circuits for the conversion and regulation of power. The course focuses on the basic converters and their steady analysis. Dynamic modeling analysis, controller design, power semiconductor device, and simulation also are covered.
