4 Credits Introduction to problem-solving methods, algorithm development, and software engineering; software development process, program design, coding, review, testing, and documentation; and programming using a modern programming language that supports modular development. The course has a closed laboratory that includes activities dealing with the computing environment, the software development process, and programming exercises.
