3 Credits This course examines ways to optimize the physical flow of goods and materials in a firm from acquisition through production, and movement through channels of distribution. It focuses on applying logistics theory to aviation management problems in materials handling, managing inventory, planning capacities, and locating distribution centers. It includes case studies with aviation/aerospace applications using computer models. Prerequisites: BA 201, MA 222.
