3 Credits During this course, the student obtains the foundation for advanced and specialized commercial heli- copter operations. The student will be introduced to advanced commercial operations and their requirements for the PIC/SIC. Emphasis will be placed on developing a safe and competent pilot who is adequately prepared for flight operations in these areas. This course also focuses on training management, safety management, personnel management, maintenance management, and record keeping. By the end of the course, the student will have sufficient knowledge to understand the concepts necessary for leadership in the commercial helicopter industry. Prerequisite: AS 372 or approval of instructor.
