Prerequisites: ENG 102, PSY 110-250. Available to non-majors with departmental approval. Studies sensory structures and processes, motor structures and functions, central structures and processes, motivation, arousal, emotion, neurotransmitters, neuromodulators and drugs, hormonal factors, and neurophysiological models (such as memory, language, learning, and psychiatric disorders). The student will develop skills to adequately examine and evaluate scientific journal articles. Available to non majors with departmental approval. 3 credits.
