Fall-Spring Semesters The course in Differential Equations covers the standard methods of solving ordinary differential equations and their applications to physics and electrical and mechanical engineering. Topics include methods for first solving order differential equations; second and higher-order equations; numerical methods for non-linear differential equations; and series solutions. Prerequisite: MAT172, Calculus II with a grade of 2.0 or higher. 4 credit hours.
